Last Sunday, the Prime Minister asked the Governor General to dissolve Parliament. This means that on September 20, 2021, we will be going to the polls to elect our MPs.
For the past few weeks, CUPW has been preparing to make its voice heard and push different political parties and candidates to take a stand on several issues that are important to us and all Canadians, including our Delivering Community Power campaign, the fight for gig workers’ rights and the right to free collective bargaining.
Your Vote Matters!
It is crucial that postal workers make their voices heard.
To do so, go to Elections Canada’s website to confirm that you are registered and to find out where and how to vote.
Due to the pandemic, we expect voting by mail to be more prevalent this year. CUPW will provide more details on this in the coming weeks.
